The Library of Musiclandria is an amazing place really. The hosts, Buddy and Rachel took so much effort to make the artists and attendees feel comfortable. They had brought out snacks and Rachel even made a vegan drone soup that was later dubbed, Mines-DRONE-y soup.
Musiclandria is essentially a library for music gear. Sign up and check out an instrument. They are regularly doing events to help people explore new sounds like workshops for drum machines and guitar pedals.
This particular evening, Jerod Rivera and I had done ambient performances and after each performance we did a Q&A regarding our setups. This was actually really fun and more intimate than most shows. Because we got to ask Jerod about his setup, composition ideas, favorite equipment and so forth. I liked this interaction after my set as well because we really allowed other attendees to have a hands on experience with equipment.
